Since 1890, Catholic Education has been present in the Bellefonte community and vicinity through Saint John Parochial School. The Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, had served the school for 102 years, before they withdrew to serve the Diocese of Scranton. Their rich heritage has fostered many vocations and imparted much Catholic education. Saint John Parochial School consists of grades Kindergarten through Five. There is also a pre-school program that assists in supplying students for Kindergarten. Both Mrs. Pam Vaiana and Fr. Neil Dadey, pastor oversee the operations of the school. Saint John Parochial School looks forward through its School Council, faculty and administration to many years of fruitful service to the community and people of God. There exist three Endowments that will hopefully aid in the future devlopment of our school.
