Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Parish-Family is a well established Catholic community since 1828, dynamic in its growth and sharing of the faith. We welcome people to our community, to share in our worship and prayer. It is through sharing the precious gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure that we have been able to initiate a wide variety of ministries, in which members actively participate in the "mission" of Christ and His Church. Our ministries include Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Cantors, Choirs (Adult, Folk and Children and Teen). We have an active Pastoral Council with many sub-committees, as well as active Finance Council, and School Council. Our beautiful Worship site is an example of English gothic architecture, inspiring prayer and spiritual devotion for our comminity since 1889. Our Parish provides religious education through Saint John Parochial School, with grades Kindergarten through five, and a pre-school program. Religious Education is offered to all students through the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. There is a small Home-Schoolers program as well.
